Returns and Exchange Policy

We do not accept returns or exchanges unless in the case of printing/product defects. All copyright responsibilities lie on the customer.

Each order is custom printed and it normally takes 5-10 days to create your backdrop. If you need to rush an order please contact us before ordering to see if possible as once an item is in production we cannot stop it. 

Once the package leaves our facility, we no longer have control to change the address or shipping label in any way. We will do whatever we can to reasonably mediate any errors that arise during shipment. But we are no longer liable for delays or lost packages. Please verify that the address(es) entered are correct during the ordering process. Photo Pie will not issue any refunds on product fees or rush fees due to a customer's error in address. UPS will usually send the package back to us after 3 failed delivery attempts or after a week of an unclaimed pickup. Which we can then ship it out again.

In the case of product defect, Photo Pie items purchased at full price can be exchanged or returned within 30 days of purchase as long as they are in new, unused, unworn, and unwashed original condition. They must have the original tags and packaging and accompanied by the original packing slip or invoice.  Please contact us regarding any defect or damage to delivered items within 24 hours of delivery.

Please be advised when printing large items, there is a potential for contamination due to filaments, fibers, and lint floating through the air. While we are proactive and have an advanced air filtration system and air compressors, there will always be the possibility for small specks and these products are not considered defective. Finished, hemmed edges and sewn rod pockets also have the potential for occasional inconsistencies in these uneven border areas, which is a normal part of production. These production notes taken into account, if you are in some way still displeased, we consistently strive to ensure our customers' satisfaction and do our best to help as best we can.

Because it is the common practice in some pockets of the photography industry to purchase goods for only one specific shoot with the intention of immediately returning the used goods, we reserve the right to refuse refund, exchange, or store credit if there is evidence a product has already been used.

We highly recommend using a traceable carrier service such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS (with tracking service) etc. for your protection and enabling product tracking for the return of your items back to us. Photo Pie is not responsible for packages not received or lost, if a tracking number is not provided.  Returns and exchanges must use prepaid shipping; we cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.

No refund/credit will be given for shipping and handling charges or customs charges, unless item(s) are defective or Photo Pie made an error when processing the original order. We cannot ship to P.O boxes but we gladly ship to APO/FPO addresses.

Please allow 3-5 business days after we have received your returned item for Photo Pie to reimburse your credit card. We desire for you to be satisfied with every purchase you make from us and will work to ensure you are satisfied. If in the case that we do issue a refund the bank transfer takes 3-5 business day (not including weekends) to process.  It may or may not show up on your bank account as pending in the meantime.  We cannot expedite this process. 

Please note: All printed items purchased are final. Sale items are not eligible for returns or exchanges unless in event of product defect, in which case exchange can be processed.
