Production Timeline

Step 1 - Artwork Approval (Create-Your-Own Or Step & Repeat)

If you have submitted custom artwork (either through the website or via email) we will format your image to the correct size for printing, create an image proof, and send it to the email address you provide at checkout. We will ask for your approval or any changes you’d like made. From there we work together to ensure the image is exactly how you want it.  Your final approval of the artwork is required before we submit the order to production and reserve a spot for the order in the queue.  This process depends on your response time and our workload.  We strive to keep communication as fast as possible but there may be delays from time to time as our workload increases.  We give priority to orders that have already been paid for and those that have tight deadlines.  Please notify us of any deadlines in your first correspondence with us, so we can offer you rush production and shipping options as well as do our best to help you make your deadline.

 

Step 2 - Production

Upon receiving final artwork approval (for custom backdrops), we submit your order into production and it gets queued.  Production is the process of printing, pressing, sewing, and packaging your backdrop for delivery. Once a backdrop is in production there is no option to upgrade to rush production or cancel the order. All upgrades to shipping must also be made before production begins. From the day we submit the order into production it usually takes between 6-10 business days to print, press and package your order for shipment.  This printing time varies based on season and queue length. During holidays, especially Christmas, the printing process will slow as orders flood in.  If you have any specific questions about tight deadlines, please contact us before ordering. Orders that must arrive before Christmas Day MUST be placed by Dec 1st.

 

Step 3 - Shipment

When production is complete, we prepare it for shipment. All upgrades to shipping must be made before production. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email through our website’s automated system. (Please keep in mind that we have no control over delays in shipping once it is in transit with the shipping company.)
